Jennie Jin -- As an anthropologist, I am interested in a variety of topics related to the reconstruction of human behavior using the materials from archaeological sites. Among many different ways to tackle this question, my dissertation focuses on the taphonomic analysis of archaeofauna from an Early Holocene site in southwest China. Currently, I am also involved with a project in central-eastern China to understand the nature of Homo erectus dispersal in East Asia. I have carried out fieldwork in South Africa, Tanzania, Honduras, and China.
